    Opis:
    W artykule poruszono temat potencjalnych skutków braku właściwej polityki remontowej dla budynków wykonanych w technologii prefabrykowanej wielkopłytowej. Zwrócono uwagę na słabe miejsca w tego typu obiektach oraz na problem niewłaściwie przeprowadzonych robót renowacyjnych lub ich niewykonywania przez długi czas. Przedstawiono przykłady zewnętrznych elementów budynku wykazujących oznaki zniszczenia.
    The article discusses the potential consequences of the lack of an appropriate renovation policy for buildings made in the prefabricated large-panel technology. Attention was paid to weak places in such facilities and to the problem of improperly carried out renovation works or their non-performance for a long time. Examples of building elements showing signs of deterioration are presented.

    Opis:
    Simulation of movement of a large number of charged particles in external electrostatic field is of great importance for a correct design of separators whose aim is to select them according to the sign of their charge. The paper deals with modeling of their trajectories in a specific arrangement consisting of a profile vessel equipped with two electrodes and several collecting bins. Electric field between the electrodes is determined using a fully adaptive higher-order finite element method. The movement (velocities and trajectories) of the particles affected by electric field, gravity and aerodynamic resistance is modeled by an adaptive Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method with an appropriately varying time step. On the other hand, their charges are rather low, so that it is possible to neglect the Coulomb forces acting among them. The methodology is illustrated by a typical example whose results are discussed.

    W pracy przedstawiono zastosowanie biblioteki metody elementów brzegowych BEMLAB do rozwiązywania zagadnień zewnętrznych teorii pola elektromagnetycznego. Opracowano modyfikację funkcji Greena, pozwalającą na rozwiązywanie zgadnień dwuwymiarowych.
    The BEMLAB library for the solution of external Electromagnetic Field Problems by Boundary Element Method was presented in this paper. The Green function has been modified in order to make allow the solution of 2D external problems.

    Opis:
    The development, testing and implementation of a new construction of a multi-axis L-type welding positioner designed to work with an industrial robot, distinguished by a wide range of movements, high load capacity and working space is a difficult task. Due to the special, unique nature of this type of devices, their research is not the subject of dedicated standards and detailed descriptions of literature and, are based primarily on their own manufacturers' procedures. The article traces the creative process in the development and implementation of the "L" positioner as part of the research and development of new types of machines at PPU "ZAP Robotics" in Ostrów Wielkopolski in cooperation with the Department of Welding Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology.
    Opracowanie, badania i wdrożenie nowej konstrukcji wieloosiowego pozycjonera spawalniczego typu "L" przeznaczonego do współpracy z robotem przemysłowym, wyróżniającego się szerokim zakresem ruchów, dużą nośnością oraz przestrzenią roboczą jest zadaniem trudnym. Z uwagi na specjalny, unikalny charakter tego typu urządzeń, ich badania nie są przedmiotem dedykowanych norm i szczegółowych opisów literaturowych, a opierają się przede wszystkim na własnych procedurach producentów. W artykule prześledzono proces twórczy przy opracowaniu i wdrożeniu pozycjonera typu "L" w ramach prac badawczo - rozwojowych nowych typów maszyn w PPU "ZAP Robotyka" w Ostrowie Wielkopolskim we współpracy z Zakładem Inżynierii Spajania Politechniki Warszawskiej.

    Opis:
    Conceptual development and testing of models and prototypes of manipulators, supporting the work of industrial robots, has become a specialty of the Department of Welding Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology and ZAP Robotyka from Ostrow Wielkopolski. However, they are not typical devices, so their development requires a detailed analysis of many aspects, both functional and economic. Also the pre-implementation tests are not included in dedicated standards and must be based on previously developed experimental procedures. This article presents selected problems in the design and research of new types of manipulators, created as a result of joint research and development work.

    Opis:
    The article presents and comments (based on material coming from Polish language dictionaries of Old Polish time, the 16th as well as 19th and 20th century, and also Old Slavonic background) on semantic transformation, in which the word forasmuch as underwent in its history: from independent word – adverb of meaning ‘quick, fast’ to the role of functional word – a conjunction ‘when, as’ that introduces a time subordinate clause or ‘if, because’ that introduces a condition or cause subordibate clause. The categorial transformation of the ‘forasmuch as’ word becomes a basis to explain a vivacity of derivatives from this word and declining the meaning shifts in them. Diversity in the space of centuries in derivatives’ attendance and semantics with component ‘forasmuch as’ is connected with external history of Polish language (main Eastern Slavic infl uances).
