Opis:
Ottoponimic names of Grodno region recorded in the business documents of the old Belarusian period are investigated in this article. The main attention is paid to ottoponimic adjectives included in the names of administrative-territorial units, settlements of various types, natural objects, governmental institutions, names of people by place of residence, etc. Depending on the nature of the derivative bases, some groups of ottoponimic names are distinguished: otoykonimic, oturbonimic, otgidronimic derivatives; these groups are analyzed according to their ability to be combined with different appellatives. Authentic Belarusian phonetic features reflected in the names are revealed and special attention is drawn to the influence of the Polish language on the formation of the toponymic space in Grodno region. The reasons for variability of the onims on the spelling and phonetic levels are discussed, and the interconnection between names and kataykonims is traced.

At the present stage of development of linguistics of the greatest importance for the regional onomastic research that are a reflection of the cultural-historical and spiritual peculiarities of life of the people. In this article we analyze the structure features of the foundations of the names of Beshenkovichi district, Vitebsk region. The surnames of seven the largest settlements of the Beshenkovichi district, Vitebsk region: Ostrovno village, Bocheikovo village, Beshenkovichi township, Verhnee Krivino village, Drozdi village, Svecha village and Ulla township were used as material.

Opis:
The different genre classifications known in the special literature (including own classification of author) are examined. As a result, it is marked that all such attempts are unperfect, what, presumably, due to the nature of religious writing itself, which, most likely, is a fuzzy set with multilevel connections of components, which prevents a clear and unambiguous classification.

Opis:
After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the proclamation of the independence of Ukraine, the Crimean Tatars began mass return to Crimea from Central Asia. After the deportation of the Crimean Tatars from the Crimea, the Soviets destroyed all that was associated with the Crimean Tatars – place names, culture, traditions, architectural monuments etc. Despite the political and domestic turmoil in the early 90’s, Crimean Tatars started on their own revival of his own culture, language and traditions and achieved a great success.

Artykuł prezentuje ubezpieczenia W&I stanowiące typ ubezpieczeń ryzyk transakcyjnych. W praktyce transakcyjnej stają się one standardem rynkowym w procesach fuzji i przejęć oraz w transakcjach nieruchomościowych, w szczególności dotyczących nieruchomości komercyjnych. Niemniej nadal w przeważającej mierze ubezpieczenia te oferowane są przez zagraniczne zakłady ubezpieczeń oraz często pod prawem obcym. Wraz z rozwojem towarzyszących im ubezpieczeń tytułu prawnego oraz ubezpieczeń specyficznych / zdefiniowanych ryzyk transakcyjnych, w tym podatkowych czy środowiskowych, stają się coraz częściej stosowanym narzędziem alokacji ryzyka, zastępując stosowane w przeszłości rachunki escrow. W artykule przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia praktyczne związane z tego typu ubezpieczeniami.
The aim of the article is to present W&I insurance, which is a type of transactional risk insurance. In transactional practice, W&I insurance is becoming a market standard in M&A processes and real estate transactions, particularly those involving commercial real estate. Nevertheless, W&I policies are still predominantly offered by foreign insurance companies, frequently under foreign law. Along with the development of accompanying title insurance and insurance for specific/defined transaction risks, including tax or environmental risks, they are becoming a tool which is increasingly applied for risk allocation, thus replacing the escrow accounts used in the past. The article describes selected practical issues related to this type of insurance.

Opis:
The article specifies the main ways of lexical-grammatical and stylistic updates of the modern Ukrainian literary language phraseological units with religious components: 1) phrasemes that relate to religion through their biblical origin, and 2) phrasemes with religious lexemes – commonly used religious units of terminology dictionary units and lexemes related to “secular” ethnographic realities (eg., чорт). The author maintains that 80% of transformations is accounted for by biblical phraseological units. Derivatives of phraseological units with religious are formed by 1) lexical (a) synonymous (поцiлунок iуди → поцiлунок учня) and b) antonymous (нести свiй хрест → обiйти свiй хрест), 2) grammatical (a) morphological (та мна вечеря – тамнi вечерi) and b) syntactic (reduction (Манна з неба (з небес) падає → манна), extension (Мойсей → новiтнiй Мойсей) and 3) combined (манна небесна → з неба крупа (манна → hyperonym крупа, небесна → з неба) updates of the structures of biblical phraseological units and phraseological units containing religious lexemes. Modified non-religious phraseological units after being extended with religious components replenish phrasicon of the Ukrainian language. Modification of the semantics of the primary collocations relates to antonymous varieties of phraseological units with religious components and partly to the units of grammatical and combined types. All updated phraseological units with religious components are marked with vivid emotionalism which often depends on the assessment of the negative phenomena of reality and some negative character traits or misconduct.

Аналiзiруецца стратэгiя выкрыцця ў творы iдэi “звышчалавечнасцi” нямецкага фiлосафа Ф. Нiцшэ. Выяўляецца наватарства А. Адамовiча ў выкарыстаннi прыёмаў плынi свядомасцi i чорнага псiхалагiзму для раскрыцця вобразаў карнiкаў батальёна Дзiрлевангера. Звяртаючыся пры разглядзе аповесцi беларускага пiсьменiка да кантексту агульнаеўрапейскага гуманiстычнага лiтаратурна-грамадскага руху “антынiцшэанства”, аўтар артыкула адзначае iдэйныя сыходжаннi памiж аповесцю “Карнiкi” i творчасцю Ф. Дастаеўскага i Л. Талстога.
W artykule omówiono ideologiczne i filozoficzne treści powieści A. Adamowicz „Oprawcy”. Autor artykułu analizuje strategię demaskowania idei „nadczłowieka” niemieckiego filozofa Friedricha Nietzschego. Zdaniem autora A. Adamowicz był innowacyjny w zakresie stosowania metod „strumienia świadomości i „czarnej psychologii”. Jego twórczość pojawia się w kontekście europejskiej literatury i ruchów społecznych o charakterze anty-Nietzscheańskim. Autor wskazuje na paralele między utworem „Oprawcy” a dziełami Dostojewskiego i Tołstoja.
The article discusses the ideological and philosophical content of the novel by Alexander Adamovich “The Punisher”. It also analyzes the process of exposing ideas of ”superhuman”of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. A. Adamovich’s approach is innovative in the use of methods of “streams of consciousness” and “black psychology”. Putting Belarusian writer creativity in the context of European humanistic literary and social trends of anti-Nietzsche trend, the author draws parallels between “The Punisher” and the works of Dostoevsky and Tolstoy.

Artykuł poświęcony jest Flawiuszowi Patrycjuszowi, konsulowi roku 500. Przez kilkanaście lat był on bliskim współpracownikiem cesarza Anastazjusza, który powierzał mu odpowiedzialne zadania zarówno w sferze wojskowej, cywilnej, jak i religijnej, co świadczyło o tym, że mu ufał i go doceniał. W czasie wy[1]borów władcy w lipcu 518 r. to prawdopodobnie on został okrzyknięty cesarzem przez gwardzistów podległych Celerowi, magistrowi officiorum. Wybór ten został utrącony przez podwładnych Justyna, komesa excubitores. W początkach panowania Justyna I (schyłek 518 początek 519 r.) po zrealizowaniu interwencji w Edessie — wobec tamtejszego biskupa Pawła — popadł w niełaskę, został pozbawiony majątku i skazany na wygnanie. Po tym wydarzeniu znika ze źródeł.
This article is devoted to Flavius Patricius, consul for the year 500. For several years he was a close associate of the emperor Anastasius, who entrusted him with important tasks in the military, civil and religious spheres, which indicated that he placed his confidence and esteem in him. During the election of the ruler in July 518, it was probably him who was proclaimed emperor by the guards subordinate to Celer, magister officiorum. This appointment was thwarted by the subordinates of Justin, the comes excubitorum. At the start of the reign of Justin I (late 518, early 519), after intervening in Edessa against the local bishop Paul, Patricius fell out of favour, was deprived of his property and sentenced to exile. After this event he disappears from the sources.

Anastasius was for Marcellinus not only a historical figure, but a ruler whose reign he was first able to observe from the perspective of his native Illyricum, and later as an inhabitant of Constantinople. The dominant influence on Marcellinus’ attitude towards Anastasius, as has already been pointed out many times, had been the Emperor’s religious policy, to which the chronicler, as a supporter of the orthodoxy, was opposed. Undoubtedly it was also not indifferent to the manner of Anastasius’ portrayal that at the time of the creation of the first Chronicle Marcellinus was either already associated with Justinian, or wanted to gain recognition in the eyes of Justin I, who after taking over the power after Anastasius’ death had taken action to reverse the negative outcomes of his predecessor’s religious policy.

Opis:
The article presents the analysis of prerequisites for appearance of interference within learning of Ukrainian language by Polish students. It was identified that the teacher’s knowledge of linguo-didactical content of notions “conversion”, “transfer”, “transposition”, “interference” and the regularity of interference appearance is an important prerequisite for methodically efficient organization of practical courses, preparation of optimal exercises system on certain learning levels, especially on the level for beginners. Furthermore it is important to consider different expressions of interference – lingual, psycho-cognitive, social and cultural which determine, in particular, methodically relevant similarities or differences while learning of Ukrainian language by Polish speaking students and respective organization of classes. Measured and methodically appropriate usage of cognitive comparison data between Polish and Ukrainian languages in the learning process facilitates the psychological motivation for language learning, preventing possible mistakes made by students in grammatical forms of Ukrainian words and using these words while speaking. The choice of teaching techniques, exercises system, sequence of their presentation during the classes dictates the character of one or another grammatical phenomenon, in the learning of which interference of different types as well as external factors (contingent of students, goal, motivation) can be observed.

Opis:
The article draws attention to the fact that relatively few summarising comparative studies appear in modern Slavic onomastics. Their absence particularly affects development of those zones of onomastics that became completely formed only in the last decades of the 20th century. One of such zones is urbanonymy and, particularly, the similarities and differences between “urbanonimic portraits” of different cities of Slavia. The article argues that in urbanonymy a portrait is a set of proper names of intracity objects, which has been formed in a certain way, that testifies to the ideological attitude to their nominators, users and visitors of the city. It is emphasized that each of the settlements has its own “portrait” made up of the names of its objects, due to which it differs from others. The article reveals distinctive features of the “urbanonymous portrait” of one of the historical centres of culture, the Belarusian city Slonim, which in 2019 became the venue for the XXVI Days of Belarusian writing.
