„[D]ie Erinnerung [ist] das Einzige […], was uns aus dem Paradies der Gegenwart vertreibt.” Zu Aushandlungsprozessen von Vergangenheit in der Gegenwart der dritten Post-Shoah-Generation: Ramona Ambs Die radioaktive Marmelade meiner Grossmutter (2013) und Channah Trzebiner Die Enkelin (2013)
Der vorliegende Beitrag analysiert zwei Debütromane von den Vertreterinnen der dritten Post-Shoah- Generation Ramona Ambs und Channah Trzebiner. Beide literarische Projekte thematisieren einen konfliktreichen, schwierigen Prozess der Aneignung und Neuverortung des Shoah-Gedächtnisses vor dem Hintergrund der Aktualität des 21. Jahrhunderts. Die Romane fokussieren die veränderte liminale Situation der Vertreterinnen der jungen Enkelinnengeneration mit der für sie zentralen Frage nach der generationellen Positionierung in der Vermittlungskette aber ohne Deutungshochheit der Zeitzeugen und der veränderten Erinnerungshandlung.
This paper provides an analysis of two novels of Ramona Ambs i Channah Trzebiner, representatives of the third generation after the Shoah. Both novels expound on issues related to the conflict-prone process of transmitting the memory of the Shoah to the contemporary context of the 21st-century reality. The works of these two young German-Jewish writers reflect the complicated and tensioned borderline situation of the young generation. With the declining number of those who have directly witnessed the Holocaust it seems necessary again to redefine their identity and to find new ways of dealing with memory.
Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest analizie dwóch powieści przedstawicielek trzeciej generacji post-Szoa Ramony Ambs i Channahy Trzebiner. Obie powieści problematyzują pełen konfliktów proces przenoszenia pamięci o Zagładzie do kontekstu współczesnej rzeczywistości XXI wieku. Utwory obu młodych żydowsko-niemieckich pisarek ukazują skomplikowaną i pełną napięć sytuację graniczną młodego pokolenia. Wraz ze śmiercią pokolenia świadków konieczne staje się ponowne określenie własnej tożsamości i sposobu obchodzenia się z pamięcią. - Źródło:
