    A la lumière de l’exhortation post-synodale Amoris Laetitia, cet article étudie “ l’évangile de la famille “ et l’importance des relations familiales dans la vie sociale. Aujourd’hui, il y a un “ besoin omniprésent d’une saine injection d’esprit de famille “ (AL 183). L’encyclique Fratelli tutti reprend ce besoin et invite à promouvoir la fraternité et l’amitié sociale dans notre société mondialisée, qui „fait de nous des voisins mais pas des frères”. “Cet article affirme que la famille est fondamentale dans le développement de nos quatre relations fondamentales (1ère partie) et dans l’éducation (2ème partie). De plus, la famille introduit la fraternité dans le monde (3ème partie) et elle est l’agent principal de l’écologie intégrale (4ème partie).
    In the light of the post-synodal exhortation Amoris Laetitia, this article studies « the gospel of the family « and the importance of family relationships in social life. Today, there is an « omnipresent need for a healthy injection of family spirit » (AL 183). The encyclical Fratelli tutti takes up this need and invites all to promote fraternity and social friendship in our globalized society, that « makes us neighbors but does not make us brothers. « This articleasserts that the family is fundamental in the development of our four fundamental relationships (1st part) and in education (2nd part). Furthermore, the family introduces fraternity into the world (3rd part) and it is the principal agent of integral ecology (4th part).
    Przedłożony artykuł analizuje „ewangelię rodziny” i znaczenie relacji rodzinnych w życiu społecznym w świetle posynodalnej adhortacji Amoris Laetitia. Zauważa ona, że istnieje dziś „wszechobecna potrzeba zdrowego zastrzyku ducha rodzinnego” (AL 183). Encyklika Fratelli tutti zwraca uwagę na tę potrzebę i wzywa do promowania braterstwa i przyjaźni społecznej w naszym zglobalizowanym społeczeństwie, które „czyni nas sąsiadami, ale nie braćmi”. Artykuł potwierdza, że rodzina ma fundamentalne znaczenie w rozwoju naszych czterech podstawowych relacji (część 1) oraz w wychowaniu (część 2). Ponadto rodzina wprowadza w świat braterstwo (cz. 3) i jest głównym czynnikiem ekologii integralnej (cz. 4).

    Cet article montre que l’éducation est essentielle pour progresser vers l’écologie intégrale et étudie le rôle que la famille, la spiritualité et l’université peuvent jouer à cet égard. La famille a le droit primaire à éduquer et est, en fait, « la première et la plus importante école ». La spiritualité offre les motivations dont nous avons besoin pour « alimenter la passion de la préservation du monde ». L’université doit également jouer un rôle important, en intégrant harmonieusement l’enseignement académique et le service social à la communauté (apprentissage par le service), Au lieu de se limiter à une simple fonction instrumentale et de transmission. Un nouveau paradigme relationnel sera donc possible, qui favorise les relations familiales et une vision holistique de la réalité. Il s’agit d’un besoin urgent que la pandémie de Covid-19 a mis en évidence.
    This article asserts the need for education in order to move towards integral ecology and studies the role that the family, the spirituality and the university can play in this formative task. The family has the primary right to educate and it is indeed the most important school. The spirituality «can motivate us to a more passionate concern for the protection of our world». The university must also play an important role, harmoniously integrating learning and social service, rather than reducing itself to a merely instrumental and transmitting function. Thus, a new relational paradigm will be possible, one that fosters family relationshipsand a holistic vision of reality. This urgent need has also been highlighted by the current Covid-19 pandemic.
    Niniejszy artykuł ukazuje potrzebę edukacji dla rozwoju ekologii integralnej oraz rolę, jaką w tym zadaniu formacyjnym odgrywają: rodzina, duchowość i uniwersytet. W dziele edukacji pierwszeństwo dzierży rodzina – najważniejsza ze szkół. Z kolei duchowość „potrafi motywować naszą gorliwość i troskę o nasz świat”. Także uniwersytet ma tu do odegrania ważną rolę, poprzez harmonijną integrację nauki i służby społecznej, wykraczając ponad funkcję li tylko przedmiotową i przekazicielską. W ten sposób staje się możliwy do osiągnięcia nowy paradygmat relacyjny, sprzyjający zarówno integracji rodzin, jak i całościowej wizji rzeczywistości. Obecna pandemia Covid-19 jeszcze bardziej uwydatnia aktualność podjętych w artykule postulatów.

    Cet article présente quelques points de convergence entre la perspective franciscaine et l’encyclique Fratelli tutti sur la fraternité. Le pape enseigne que « c’est le témoignage évangélique de saint François, avec son école de pensée, qui a donné au terme de fraternité le sens qu’il a ensuite conservé au cours des siècles “. La première partie de l’article se concentre sur la façon dont François d’Assise et la tradition franciscaine ont développé le concept de fraternité. La seconde partie l’étudie sur l’encyclique Fratelli tutti. Il est souligné que tant la tradition franciscaine que Fratelli tutti offrent une perspective trinitaire et christologique qui va au-delà de la manière habituelle de la comprendre dans notre société.
    This article presents some points of convergence between the Franciscan perspective and the encyclical Fratelli tutti on fraternity. The Pope teaches that « it was the evangelical witness of St. Francis, with his school of thought, that gave the term fraternity the meaning it then preserved over the centuries. » The first part of the article focuses on how Francis of Assisi and the Franciscan tradition have developed the concept of fraternity. The second part studies it on the encyclical Fratelli tutti. It is emphasized that both the Franciscan tradition and Fratelli tutti offer a Trinitarian and Christological perspective that goes beyond the usual way of understanding it in our society.

The first part of the article focuses on discernment and indicates some of its characteristics. The second part reflects on how to practice it in order to meet the ethical challenges of our digital culture.

    Cet article présente François d’Assise comme modèle d’inspiration de la fraternité universelle proposée dans l’encyclique Fratelli tutti. Le pape affirme que « le témoignage évangélique de saint François, avec son école de pensée, a donné au concept de fraternité le sens qu’il a conservé au fil des siècles ». La fraternité universelle exige le développement harmonieux de nos quatre relations fondamentales, ce qui apparaît clairement tant dans François d’Assise (première partie) que dans l’encyclique Fratelli tutti (deuxième partie). Inspiré par saint François, le pape nous invite à accueillir tous les hommes comme des frères et des sœurs et ainsi à rêver ensemble « comme une seule famille humaine ».
    This article presents Francis of Assisi as an inspiring model of the universal fraternity proposed by the encyclical Fratelli tutti. The Pope asserts that «it was the evangelical witness of St. Francis, with his school of thought, that gave the term fraternity the meaning it then preserved over the centuries». Universal fraternity requires the harmonious development of our four fundamental relationships, something which is evident in both Francis of Assisi(part 1) and the encyclical Fratelli tutti (part 2). Inspired by saint Francis, the Pope invites us to welcome all human beings as brothers and sisters and thus to dream together «as a singlehuman family».

    Cet article étudie le concept de fraternité à la lumière du Magistère du Pape François. Dans une première partie, il met l’accent sur certaines de ses significations qui sont réductrices et insuffisantes. Puis, il présente les caractéristiques que le pape François lui attribue (2e partie) et la manière dont il l’applique à notre relation avec notre sœur la Terre mère (3e partie). Contredisant le “ paradigme indifférencié et unidimensionnel “ actuel, le pape enseigne que la fraternité est l’unité dans la diversité. Le modèle est le “polyèdre aux multiples facettes dont les différents côtés forment une unité bigarrée”.
    This paper studies the concept of fraternity in the light of the Magisterium of Pope Francis. In the first part, it focuses on some of its meanings that are reductive and insufficient. Then, it presents the characteristics that Pope Francis assigns to it (2nd part) and how he applies it to our relationship with Sister Mother Earth (3rd part). Contradicting the current « undifferentiated and one-dimensional paradigm », the pope teaches that fraternity is unity in diversity. The model is the «many-faceted polyhedron whose different sides form a variegated unity ».

    This article studies the family in the recent Magisterium and in Franciscan spirituality. Besides being recognized as the basis of society and its first school, the family is also proposed as a model to express some theological realities and fundamental human values. The paper begins by showing the importance of the concept of family in the Magisterium (1st part) and then it studies how the Franciscans have assumed it in their way of understanding themselves, in their legislation and in the exercise of authority (2nd part). Finally, the third part focuses on the Franciscan vision of creation as a cosmic family.
    Niniejszy artykuł analizuje rodzinę w najnowszym Magisterium i w duchowości franciszkańskiej. Oprócz tego, że jest uznawana za podstawę społeczeństwa i jego pierwszą szkołę, rodzina jest również proponowana jako model do wyrażania pewnych rzeczywistości teologicznych i podstawowych wartości ludzkich. Artykuł rozpoczyna się od ukazania znaczenia koncepcji rodziny w Magisterium (część pierwsza), a następnie analizuje, w jaki sposób franciszkanie przyjęli ją w swoim sposobie rozumienia siebie, w swoim prawodawstwie i w sprawowaniu władzy (część druga). Wreszcie trzecia część koncentruje się na franciszkańskiej wizji stworzenia jako kosmicznej rodziny.

    Recently, a military robot has autonomously taken the decision to attack enemy troops in the Libyan war without waiting for any human intervention. Russia is also suspected of using such kind of robots in the current war against Ukraine. This news has highlighted the possibility of radical changes in war scenarios. Using a Catholic perspective, we will analyze these new challenges, indicating the anthropological and ethical bases that must lead to the prohibition of autonomous “killer robots” and, more generally, to the overcoming of the just war theory. We will also point out the importance of Francis of Assisi, whom the encyclical Fratelli tutti has proposed again as a model for advancing towards a fraternal and pacified humanity.
