The aim of this article is pointing that The World Youth Days are a phenomenon that provides understanding and accomplishing this principle. The World Youth Days are international meetings of young people from all over the world who gather in one place to make a confession of faith in Jesus Christ. They arose out of the concern of John Paul II who was tireless to wander The Earth to look for young people and faced them with his paternal love. As a result, these meetings have brightened young people’s faith for30 years. Neither documents nor decrees would guarantee such newness of faith, but only real and personal meeting a human and God. The subsequent popes ant the entire organization structure wants to show young people God and His way of acting in the world and human life.

The involvement of the lay faithful in the community of the Church is at the center of theological reflection after the Second Vatican Council. It is among the key issues in practical theology in Poland. Theoretical indications are often not translated into pastoral practice. In fact, it is possible to notice the posed actions and activities related to the involvement of the lay faithful in the community of the Church. Hence, changes in pastoral practice are needed. The analyses undertaken in this article are a voice in the discussion. They show the most important areas of involvement of the lay faithful of the Church in Poland, taking into account the current social and religious situation. First, the status of the lay faithful in the Church and the basic tasks they have to perform in the Church are described. In this context, the basic planes of involvement of the lay faithful in the Church in Poland were presented. This made it possible to show the translation of the guidelines enshrined in the documents of the Church and in the teaching of the Popes into pastoral practice in Poland. To enrich the analyses, reference was made to good practices that illustrate the involvement of lay faithful in pastoral, evangelization, administrative, cultural, and social activities. The need for in-depth research and the development of new pastoral strategies was also pointed out. It was considered important to change the mentality of the hierarchy (bishops) and priests) and to raise the level of awareness of the lay faithful and motivate them to be more active in the community of the Church.

The teaching of the Second Vatican Council develops an understanding of the Church as an integral entirety, present in the world and operating in accordance with its nature and purpose. Every personal commitment of a lay faithful, every effort made and each achievement has an impact on others and the whole Church. However, the commitment of adult Catholics to the world requires their appropriate preparation. Therefore, this article will first present the ecclesiological foundations of the lay faithful’s earthly commitment, and then, the process of their preparation, taking into consideration their personal and religious development. Finally it will also explore the meaning of the community as the place of their permanent formation.

The right of association is one of the pillars of a democratic state ruled by law. In the Polish legal system, the right of association are enshrined in Article. 12 of the Polish Constitution. Numerous provisions of international law also refer to it, making them one of the most important human rights. The Catholic Church also supports the association of their believers. The right of association and the scope of this right were laid in the Code of Canon Law in 1983. The issue of association of the faithful, who are also subject to the provisions of Polish law, must be for the mixed nature (res mixtae). This dualism of legal regulation of association, seriously hampers the proper interpretation of the rules derived from two different from each other legal systems . The purpose of this article is to present, in a comparative context, the Polish law the regulations of the Polish and the canonical law forming a right of the faithful to associate with a particular taking into account the property and organizational functioning of this kind of associations.

The article shows a scientific approach which is rarely discussed. A legal and canonical analysis concerns a form of the proclamation of the Word of God which occurs during a retreat exercise. The article discusses etymology and a definition of retreat; retreat norms of universal law of the Church and the law of the particular Churches are invoked. The subject and content of the retreat are presented, their division (open, semi-open and closed) is made and then a possibility of practising retreat on the Internet is shown.
Opracowanie stanowi przyczynek do naukowego ujęcia rzadko poruszanego zagadnienia. Analizie prawnokanonicznej poddano nadzwyczajną formę głoszenia Słowa Bożego, jaka ma miejsce w czasie ćwiczeń rekolekcyjnych. Omówiono etymologię i definicję rekolekcji, przywołano rekolekcyjne normy prawa powszechnego Kościoła i prawa Kościołów partykularnych, zaprezentowano podmiot oraz treść rekolekcji, dokonano ich podziału (otwarte, półotwarte i zamknięte), a następnie ukazano możliwości praktykowania rekolekcji w Internecie.

W zaprezentowanym artykule ukazano, zgodnie z Kodeksem Prawa Kanonicznego z 1983 r., możliwość zawarcia małżeństwa mieszanego w jednej konfiguracji, jakim jest związek katolika obrządku łacińskiego z wiernym Kościoła polskokatolickiego. Tematyka tego artykułu została zaprezentowana w dwóch aspektach, jakimi są: hipoteza związana z zawieraniem związku w Kościele rzymskokatolickim po spełnieniu określonych warunków oraz hipoteza związana z zawieraniem związku w Kościele polskokatolickim po wypełnieniu odpowiednich wymogów. Z przeprowadzonych analiz wynika, iż chrzest udzielany w Kościele polskokatolickim jest ważny. Dlatego też małżeństwo zawarte przez katolika z wiernym Kościoła polskokatolickiego podpada pod kanoniczną konfigurację związku zawieranego przez katolika z akatolikiem ochrzczonym. Stąd też w tym przypadku znajdują aplikację kan. 1124-1129 Kodeksu.
The article discusses the possibility of entering into a mixed marriage in a configuration represented by the union of a Catholic of the Latin Rite with a member of the Polish Catholic Church The central issue is presented in the following two aspects: a hypothesis connected with entering into marriage unions in the Roman Catholic Church after fulfilling appropriate requirements, and a hypothesis connected with entering into marriage unions in Polish Catholic Church after fulfilling appropriate requirements. The presented research implies that baptism administered in the Polish Catholic Church is valid, therefore marriage entered by a Catholic with a faithful of the Polish Catholic Church canonically equivalent to a union entered into by a Catholic with a baptized non-Catholic hence the applicability of cann. 1124-1129 of the Code.

Introduced after the Second Vatican Council, the norm permitting the lay person to be a qualified witness of marriage entered in the canonical form has not been yet further elaborated in Polish canonist literature. This study seeks to fill this gap in the Polish canonist literature. The first part of the presentation is devoted to the development of the norm in post-conciliar legislation before the promulgation of the 1983 Code of Canon Law. The next part presents the conditions for the delegation of a lay person to assist at marriage in accordance with canon 1112: a lack of priests and deacons, consent of the diocesan bishop with the favourable vote of the conference of bishops and the permission of the Holy See. The last addressed issue is the duties of delegated lay persons in connection with their task to prepare the intending parties for marriage, to verify their ability to conclude it, to preside over the ritual, and to record this fact in church documentation.

Najważniejszym miejscem i źródłem działania sakramentu jest Kościół, który ze swej natury jest przeznaczony do tworzenia prawdziwej przestrzeni zbawczej. Dzięki temu następuje tajemnicze zjednoczenie istoty ludzkiej i boskiej bez naruszenia ich suwerenności. To zespolenie wprowadza w świat ludzki, widzialny i całą doczesność nowy porządek, który stanowić będzie o ich relacyjności zbawczej.
The sacraments of the Church are not only making manifest the victim of the Christ and the favour of the Holy Spirit, but are also calling for the man so that he assumes the positive attitude with regard to the act of their celebration. Since via the entire sacramental-ceremonious event the victim of the Christ is being updated still anew. Community faithful obtaining the participation in the salutary mystery play, receives the privilege of drawing from supernatural gifts. And along with him impulse towards the transformation of one’s earthly activity into the actual value serving the good of the individual and the universal community. In sacraments and the celebration one purpose always becomes apparent, deprived any of the internal opposition and ruling out which consists in bringing the man closer to God. Apart from that carry occurring between two phenomena let overcome the indifference to true spiritual values.

Nowy podział granic po zakończeniu II wojny światowej zburzył dotychczasowy porządek w całym kraju. Na tereny zamieszkałe przed wojną przez Niemców zaczęli też przybywać mieszkańcy z tzw. centralnej Polski, głównie ze względów ekonomicznych. Dla wielu przyjazd na Pomorze Zachodnie był tzw. nowym otwarciem. Do Warnic i okolicznych miejscowości pierwsi osadnicy, przybyli jesienią 1947 roku, zwłaszcza z powiatu końskiego na Kielecczyźnie, z okolic Płocka, z Rzeszowszczyzny i Lubelszczyzny. To właśnie ci ludzie, ubogaceni różnorodnymi tradycjami, położyli podwaliny pod wspólnotę parafi i pw. NMP Matki Kościoła w Warnicach. Warnicka parafia w 2018 roku obchodziła jubileusz 40-lecia istnienia. Jest ona doskonałym przykładem, w jaki sposób rozwijały się małe wspólnoty parafialne na terenie dzisiejszej archidiecezji szczecińsko-kamieńskiej. Świątynie parafii Warnice są dziś jej najbardziej zauważalną wizytówką. Przykościelne place są swoistymi perełkami w każdej miejscowości. Teren przy domu parafialnym i budynkach gospodarczych może służyć za przykład okolicznym gospodarstwom. Jednak parafia to nie tylko kościoły i budynki. Różnorodność form duszpasterskich, realizowanych w parafii ubogaca życie duchowe jej wiernych. Ci zaś chętnie uczestniczą we mszach św., korzystając systematycznie z sakramentu pokuty i Eucharystii. Świadczy o tym liczba udzielanych każdego roku komunii świętych, która sięga z górą 40 tysięcy. Śmiało można napisać, że parafia w Warnicach jest jedną z najprężniej działających wiejskich wspólnot parafialnych w archidiecezji szczecińsko-kamieńskiej.
With the end of World War II, the new division of borders destroyed the previous order throughout the country. To the areas inhabited by the Germans until the end of the war, also people from the so-called Central Poland began to arrive. They came here mainly for economic reasons. For many, the arrival to Western Pomerania was the so-called new opening. The first settlers arrived to Warnice and neighbouring villages in autumn 1947. They came mainly from the Końskie district in the Kielce region, from the vicinity of Płock, and from the Rzeszów and Lublin regions. It is these people enriched with various traditions that laid the foundations for the community of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of the Church Parish in Warnice. The Warnice parish last year celebrated the 40th anniversary of its existence. It is a perfect example of how small parish communities developed in the present-day Szczecin-Kamień Archdiocese. The temples of the Warnice parish are today its most notable showcase. The church squares are peculiar pearls in every village. The area next to the parish house and outbuildings can serve as an example for the surrounding farms. However, the parish is not just churches and buildings. The variety of pastoral work forms implemented in the parish enriches the spiritual life of its faithful. They willingly participate in Holy Masses, regularly making use of the sacrament of penance and the Eucharist. This is evidenced by the number of Holy Communions given each year, which reach over 40,000. It is safe to write that the parish in Warnice is one of the most active, rural parish communities in the Szczecin-Kamień Archdiocese.

The paper discusses the problem of the integrating function of canon law for the community of the faithful. The author offers some arguments in support of the thesis. They are as follows: an argument from the genesis of canon law, an argument from the nature of customary law, an argument from the function of church law and from values connected with canonical norms. Also arguments from legal institutions like diocesan synod and diocesan and parish pastoral council are provided. Realization of the right to association and role of particular law are offered as arguments. The conclusion of the paper is that canon law serves the process of integration of the faithful.
W artykule poruszony został problem integracyjnej funkcji prawa kanonicznego dla wspólnoty wierzących. Autor prezentuje argumenty popierające tę tezę. Są to argumenty z pochodzenia prawa kanonicznego, z charakteru prawa zwyczajowego, funkcji prawa kanonicznego, powiązania wartości i prawa kanonicznego, a także z instytucji prawa kanonicznego takich jak synod diecezjalny i rada duszpasterska. Konkluzję rozważań stanowi stwierdzenie, iż prawo kanoniczne służy procesowi integracji wiernych.

Purpose: The purpose of the article is to expand the discussion on the truth and fairness concept and faithful representation in financial statements, and to investigate how accounting practitioners perceive the qualitative characteristics of faithful representation. Methodology/approach: We conducted a questionnaire survey of public sector accounting practitioners. Findings: The perceptions of faithful representation are based on the International Federation of Accountants' and International Accounting Standards Board's conceptualizations of this attribute and the applicable legal regulations. In the opinion of ac-counting practitioners, faithful representation signifies that financial statements dis-close information that has been positively evaluated by control and audit authorities. Effectively, the accuracy of financial statements depends on the quality of accounting law in the public sector and the control process. The respondents knew and understood principle-based accounting but were more concerned with rule-based regulations. Research limitations/implications: The limitation of our study is the sample size, which only permitted an analysis of qualitative variables. The research is a pilot study and will be extended in future work. Originality/value: In Poland, a country governed by a code of law, the perception of faithful representation is oriented toward precise accounting and is based on legitimization by control and audit authorities demanding high-quality accounting legislation. This study confirms the importance of harmonizing accounting law in Poland. Principles-based standardization in the public sector should replace the existing detailed, technical legislature.

The article shows the practical application of data protection regulations in the process of cross-border data transfer by church public legal entities, using a case study as an example. After the presentation of the case study data, the author of the articles makes a few remarks concerning the binding regulations and their application. At the end of the article, the general request is formulated, which orders the controllers to undertake cross-border data transfer with great caution.
Artykuł pokazuje na przykładzie kazusu praktyczne zastosowanie regulacji dotyczących ochrony danych osobowych w procesie transgranicznego przekazywania danych przez kościelne publiczne osoby prawne. Po przedstawieniu danych kazusu autor artykułu czyni kilka uwag dotyczących obowiązujących regulacji i ich zastosowania. Na końcu artykułu zostaje sformułowany ogólny wniosek, który nakazuje administratorom podejmować transgraniczne przekazywanie danych z wielką ostrożnością.

Następnie zostały omówione warunki umożliwiające delegowanie świeckiego do asystowania przy zawarciu małżeństwa zawarte w kan. 1112 tegoż Kodeksu: brak kapłanów i diakonów oraz delegacja biskupa diecezjalnego po uzyskaniu pozytywnej opinii Konferencji Biskupów i zezwolenia ze strony Stolicy Apostolskiej. Ostatnim zaprezentowanym zagadnieniem są obowiązki delegowanego świeckiego w związku z powierzonym mu zadaniem, do których należy przygotowanie nupturientów do małżeństwa, zweryfikowanie ich zdolności do jego zawarcia, przewodniczenie obrzędowi oraz zatroszczenie się o odpowiednie odnotowanie tego faktu w dokumentacji kościelnej.
Introduced after the Second Vatican Council, the norm permitting the lay person to be a qualified witness of marriage entered into a canonical form has not been yet further elaborated in Polish language. This article is an attempt to fill this gap in Polish canonical literature. The first part of the presentation is devoted to the development of the norm in post-conciliar legislation before the promulgation of the 1983 Code of Canon Law. The next part of this dissertation presents the conditions for delegation of lay person to assist at marriage in accordance with Can. 1112 of this Code: lack of priests and deacons, consent of the diocesan bishop with favorable vote of the conference of bishops and permission of the Holy See. The last presented issue is the duties of a delegated lay persons in connection with the task entrusted to them to prepare the nupturients for marriage, to verify their ability to conclude it, to preside over the rite and to take note of this fact in the church documentation.

Opis:
This article addresses the problem of overcoming the discrepancy between faith and temporal engagement, signaled in the Gaudium et Spes of the Second Vatican Council and in many statements of John Paul II. It begins with the analysis of the Council’s text (no. 43), showing the historical-ecclesiastical, theological-spiritual and social causes of this discord. Then it points to certain elements of the Council's teaching, helpful in the theological and spiritual reflection on overcoming this split. In the second part, the article gives on this subject the theological and spiritual indications based on the conciliar theology of the laity according to Giuseppe Lazzati. In the final part, it supplements the earlier analyzes referring to the deepened ecclesiology, the broader concept of secularity, and to the science of building a synthesis between the faith and the temporal commitment included in the Christi fideles laici of John Paul II.
Artykuł podejmuje problematykę przezwyciężenia rozdźwięku pomiędzy wiarą a zaangażowaniem doczesnym, sygnalizowaną w Gaudium et spes Soboru Watykańskiego II i w wielu wypowiedziach Jana Pawła II. Wychodzi od analizy tekstu soborowego (nr 43), ukazując historyczno-eklezjalne, teologiczno-duchowe oraz społeczne przyczyny owego rozdźwięku. Następnie wskazuje na pewne elementy nauki soborowej pomocne w teologicznej i duchowej refleksji nad przezwyciężeniem owego rozłamu. W drugiej części artykuł podaje na ten temat wskazania teologiczne i duchowe Giuseppe Lazzatiego oparte na soborowej teologii laikatu. W końcowej części uzupełnia wcześniejsze analizy, odwołując się do pogłębionej eklezjologii, poszerzonego pojęcia świeckości oraz do nauki na temat tworzenia syntezy między wiarą a zaangażowaniem doczesnym zawartych w Christifideles laici Jana Pawła II.

Artykuł jest podsumowaniem badań, jakie zostały przeprowadzone w lutym i marcu 2021 roku wśród wiernych świeckich, na temat postanowień duszpasterskich Kościoła katolickiego w Polsce podczas pandemii COVID-19. Autor uzyskał kilka tysięcy wypowiedzi wiernych, którzy od roku zmagali się ze zjawiskiem pandemii zagrażającym zdrowiu i życiu nie tylko w wymiarze fizycznym, ale również duchowym. Po krótkim teoretycznym wprowadzeniu w problematykę podejmowanego tematu nastąpi analiza wyników badań.
The article is a summary of the research conducted in February and March 2021 among the lay faithful on the pastoral decisions of the Catholic Church in Poland against the COVID-19 pandemic. The author obtained several thousand statements from the faithful who for a year had been struggling with the pandemic that threatened their health and life not only in the physical but also in the spiritual dimension. After a short theoretical introduction to the main theme, the research results will be analyzed.
