Opis:: This article considers the key genre trends in Akhmatova’s poetry. The term «dominant installation of the author» (Kighney’s term) is used as the main genre-make criterion. The introspective, formally canonical, functional installations are defined and analysed. The conclusion of the article is that the author's installations, inspired by the needs of time and tradition, and may be embodied in an individual poetic work in the syncretic, differently interpreted genre structures.

Opis:: The results of research, which applied character, for an industrial complex, will allow resolving topical and important issues of increase of efficiency of operation of park of special equipment in the course of a production activity, at stages of a project and preparatory work are given in article. In previous articles [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] proposed mathematical model of determination of productivity of the machine -tractor unit (MTU) with industrial function is presented in article during the pipelaying works. The mathematical model coordinates all key technical parameters of the pipelayer and the parameters defining service conditions in uniform dependence. The method of "minimization of duration of a running cycle of the machine" is put in mathematical model, as duration of a running cycle is one of generalizing indicators of technical and operational efficiency of MTU. In other words, productivity of the pipelayer is in inverse relationship with a duration of a running cycle, the less time is spent for pipeline laying, the productivity and efficiency of construction is higher. Various ways of laying of the pipeline define boundary conditions, which form some private models.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono niektóre wytyczne normalizacyjne oraz wynikające z dobrej praktyki inżynierskiej zasady dotyczące montażu instalacji fotowoltaicznych. Na podstawie dokumentacji fotograficznej omówiono typowe błędy w wykonaniu instalacji fotowoltaicznych wskazując jednocześnie przyczyny ich występowania. Analizy statystyczne uszkodzeń w różnych krajach wskazują na znaczną ich liczbę głównie w fazie dynamicznego wzrostu liczby instalacji.
The article presents standardization guidelines and rules for the installation of photovoltaic installations resulting from good engineering practice. On the basis of photographic documentation, typical errors in the implementation of photovoltaic installations were discussed, at the same time indicating the reasons for their occurrence. Statistical analyses of failures in various countries indicate a significant number of failures, mainly in the phase of dynamic growth in the number of installations.

Opis:: In reply to the Polish market demand and the increase of competitiveness in the lifting sector the innovative construction of CHP 2000 type gear with changeable loading capacity configuration has been created. Computer-aided project of the workstation to validate the installation of a friction lift brake (the gear) in the production conditions is presented in the research study. The construction and the operation scheme of the lift braking system are described. Methodology of validation has been proposed at the stage of production on the basis of variability of the production demand for the presented model of the progressive gear.

Possibilities of using a new type controller for steering, visualization and balancing of hybrid installation with renewable energy sources were analyzed. On the example of hybrid installation with renewable energy sources working in real conditions, energy balances associated with the production and use of different streams of energy for the selected time period are discussed.

Opis:: The main aim of this experimental study is to test the novel type of coupon installation. This set-up was used to carry out the corrosion process under aggressive conditions. Moreover, the effect of corrosion inhibitors on the scale-forming tendency was evaluated. The corrosive conditions were defined by using the Langelier Saturation Index (this index is an approximate indicator of the degree of saturation of CaCO3 in water) and the Ryznar stability index (this index is allowed to determine if the liquid sample is aggressive or not). Additionally, the inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy analysis was used to obtain the iron and calcium ions concentrations in the liquid samples from the tested coupon installation. The corrosion process for the established conditions was also described using the corrosion rate of the tested coupons. The obtained investigation contributes significantly by developing the novel coupon installation and demonstrating the procedure for testing the corrosion process with the application of coupons. This setup and method might be successfully applied for accelerated laboratory tests.

Opis:: The article is part of the design and research work conducted at the Gdansk University of Technology, Faculty of Ocean Engineering and Ship Technology, in cooperation with a number of other research centres, which concerns offshore wind farms planned to be built in the Polish zone of the Baltic sea in the next years. One of most difficult tasks in this project is building suitable foundations for each power unit consisting of a tower and a wind turbine mounted on its top. Since the water regions selected for building those wind farms have different depths, there was need to study different possible technical variants of this task, with the reference to both the foundation structures themselves, and the technology of their transport and setting, or anchoring. The article presents the technology of towing, from the shipyard to the setting place, and installation of the foundation having the form of a floating platform of TLP (Tension Leg Platform) type, anchored by tight chains to suction piles in the waters with depth of 60 m.

Opis:: The Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) became mandatory for new ships as well as the Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) for all ships due to the MEPC 62 (July 2011) along with the adoption of amendments to MARPOL Annex VI by the Parties to the MARPOL Annex VI. This was the first legally binding climate change treaty to be adopted since the Kyoto Protocol. The Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP), which has been obligatory since 2013, did not to cover fishing cutters but triggered the implementation of energy efficiency audits due to fishing limits, high fuel prices, and free freight market. All the above caused that ship-owners started seeking ways for saving money and keep their business profitable. Apart from energy recovery installations, fishing vessels have been furnished with the latest technologies aimed at the reduction of energy consumption and at making ships greener. A research team of the Maritime University of Szczecin conducted energy efficiency audits on several fishing vessels operated on the Baltic Sea and stated that up to 40% of the energy is used during fishing operations by hydraulic devices installed at the fishing vessels. The paper presents the measurement results of energy consumption in typical operational states based on a selected fishing cutter operating at the Baltic Sea. The paper includes also the recommendations in terms modernization of hydraulic installations and the changes of control methods for devices with hydraulic drive. The calculations are also presented herein and they prove that it is possible to reduce energy consumption by a fishing cutter even by 20% while maintaining the unchanged operating parameters of the hydraulic devices.

Opis:: At the beginning, in the paper the basic definitions concerned with critical infrastructures and climate and weather impacts on their safety are given. Next, critical infrastructure networks operating at Baltic Sea Region, forming the Global Baltic Network of Critical Infrastructure Networks (GBNCIN), are distinguished. Dangerous events coming from/to critical infrastructures located in the Baltic Sea area are classified and described. Potential threats are divided into two groups i.e. threats associated with dynamic installations and those associated with various static industrial installations. Moreover, natural hazards associated with weather and climate change are considered.

Opis:: The protection of helicopters against the destruction with projectiles launched from the RPG-7 rocket-propelled grenade launcher has been analyzed from the point of view of the possibility of the use of passive, reactivepassive and electric armours. The 30% probability of the protection of the witness plate, situated behind the PAWA-1 passive armour, has been obtained as a model to protect the helicopter. This result has been obtained in consequence of lack of initiation of the PG-7 projectile during the firing of the PAWA-1 armour and in consequence of mechanical destruction of this projectile. Besides this, the use of UAV for the reconnaissance of the terrain before or during flight of the helicopter in the system of the manual or automatic control, has been analyzed.
Ochrona helikopterów przed zniszczeniem pociskami wystrzelonymi z ręcznej wyrzutni RPG-7 została przeanalizowana pod kątem możliwości użycia pancerzy pasywnych, reaktywno-pasywnych i elektrycznych. Uzyskano 30% prawdopodobieństwo ochrony płyty świadek umieszczonej za pasywnym pancerzem PAWA-1 jako modelu do ochrony helikoptera. Wynik ten uzyskano w wyniku niepobudzenia pocisku PG-7 podczas ostrzału pancerza PAWA-1 i jego mechanicznego zniszczenia. Ponadto analizowano użycie UAV do rozpoznania terenu przed lub w trakcie lotu helikoptera w systemie sterowania ręcznego lub automatycznego.

Opis:: The article presents the application capabilities of the LOGO! controller produced by the Siemens company with respect to heating control in an automated “intelligent building”. The wide range of capabilities of the logic controller finds its reflection in practical implementation, as illustrated by means of a computer simulation example prepared in the LOGO! Soft Comfort v6.0 program. The work presents a comparative analysis of two programs serving two-stage heating control: with and without hysteresis, as well as a control program for an “intelligent” holiday cottage. The article also presents the results of parameter calculations for the B007 analog adapter, based on the examples of sample heating curve characteristics. The wide range of capabilities of the logic controller finds its practical implementation on the basis of examples of PI controller operation simulations in the LOGO! Soft Comfort v6.0 program.
