Omówiono wyniki prowadzonej przez autorów “polsko‑ukraińskiej analizy empirycznej”. Większość parametrów dotyczących cech współczesnego ukraińskiego menedżera nawiązuje do najpowszechniejszych modeli narodowych kultur biznesowych, określających kierunki dalszego rozwoju: naukowego, praktycznego i metodologicznego w zakresie analizowanego problemu.
The preliminary results of the development of the initial theoretical, methodological and applied methodological provisions for the study of the profile of a modern Ukrainian manager are presented in the context of predicting its transformation in the future in the context of deepening internationalization. The results of the Polish‑Ukrainian applied empirical analysis carried out by the authors are discussed. The content of the parameters of a modern Ukrainian manager is disclosed in the framework of the most common models of national business cultures, and directions for the further scientific, practical and methodological development of the problem are determined.

Opis:: Instytucja zarządzania statkami morskimi (ship management) nie jest zbyt dobrze znana ani polskiemu prawu, ani polskiej doktrynie prawa morskiego, pomimo tego że rola zarządzającego statkiem (ship manager) rosła sukcesywnie przez wiele lat. Jej początki przypadają na lata osiemdziesiąte poprzedniego stulecia, w okresie poważnych zmian na rynku żeglugowym, gdy dochodziło do wielu bankructw przedsiębiorstw armatorskich i gdy banki hipoteczne musiały zwracać się do fachowych podmiotów zarządzających statkami o pomoc w prowadzeniu działalności żeglugowej.Trzydzieści lat temu, w 1988 r. BIMCO opublikowała pierwszy wzorzec umowy o zarządzanie statkiem o nazwie SHIPMAN, który zapewnił pewną równowagę pomiędzy prawami i obowiązkami armatora i zarządzającego statkiem oraz jednolitość w szeroko stosowanych na rynku żeglugowym umowach tego rodzaju, szczególnie w podziale odpowiedzialności pomiędzy stronami. Po wejściu w życie w 1998 r. Kodeksu ISM, który wprowadził do prawa międzynarodowego instytucję Company jako podmiot odpowiedzialny za bezpieczną eksploatację statku, rola zarządzającego wzrosła niepomiernie. Było to między innymi przyczyną tego, że BIMCO przygotowała nowy formularz umowy o nazwie SHIPMAN 98. Po kolejnych kilku latach formularz został uaktualniony i jego nowa wersja została wydana w 2009 r.Głównym celem artykułu jest przybliżenie czytelnikowi zagadnień związanych z zarządzaniem statkiem morskim i podmiotem nim zarządzającym (ship manager), przez omówienie i przetłumaczenie na język polski opracowanego przez BIMCO nowego wzorca umowy o zarządzanie statkiem o nazwie SHIPMAN 2009
The concept of a Ship Management is vaguely known in the Polish law and legal doctrine although the role of the Ship Manager has become quite complex through the years. It started in the eighties when there was a deep change in the shipping market as many shipping companies became bankrupt and mortgagor banks had to turn to ship managers for help.Thirty years ago in 1988 BIMCO published the first Ship Management Contract which provided the market with a standard document striking a fair balance between the rights and obligations of the owners and the managers, giving some uniformity in the widely used in house contracts, particularly in the apportionment of liability between parties. After the implementation of the ISM Code in 1998 and creating the entity called “Company” as a subject responsible for a safe operation of a vessel the ship manager’s role rose extremely. It caused, among other factors, that BIMCO issued the world wide known form of contract named SHIPMAN 98, which was then superseded by its new version issued in 2009. The main goal of this article is to bring a reader closer to the issue of a Ship Management and the Ship Manager through a Polish translation of this modern BIMCO form named SHIPMAN 2009

Opis:: The theoretical aim of the paper is to analyses the main function and concept of production control in operation management. The empirical aim of the paper is to investigate polish production firm opinion about factors affecting production planning and control and also functions of production planning and control. Production control is very important in every factory, and every aspect of operation and production management especially in times of Industry 4.0 conditions. In the paper we presented all classical seven task of production management control. Also there is in the paper an analysis of main factors affecting production control in industrial organization. In the paper we analysed the problems connected with production control. Nowadays in the conditions of Industry 4.0 this is very important concept because the increasing level of digitalization of all industrial processes leads to possibility of detailed analysis of all processes and better level of control. Operation managers should have good level of knowledge about production control and especially quality control. They can use in this many new information tools like statistical methods and artificial intelligence. Especially we think that in the future many function of production control would be assisted by artificial intelligence. We also in the paper give results of research conducted on example of 30 polish production organizations located in Silesia region.

Opis:: The main goal in the article was the disclosure of the content and strategy of creative education, its importance in forming the professional competencies of a competitive manager. The terms “education for development” and “education for sustainable development” were analyzed. It was proved that nowadays exactly the educational factor is extremely important for the positive dynamics of society’s development. The emphasis was put on the importance of the new educational paradigm formulation in order to determine the perspectives for sustainable social development. In the context of the foregoing, the place of the creative education, which integrates other kinds, connects them into a complex of very important, positive characteristics of the professional studies and the formation of a manager. The need to consider the creative and the reflexive and the creative education as the most important components of the educational paradigm in the educational process was stressed. The content of creative education, which focuses on the development of the future manager creative abilities and on the consolidation in his professional consciousness the orientation of the innovation, was specified. It includes problems analysis and activity variants, and its result is an increase in the level of management art. Therefore, creative management education is focused on the establishment and development of the management art that appears and seen only under certain education circumstances and conditions. At the same time, creative education widens the range of managerial development problems and designs variants for their solution, which should be the main thing in the modern manager work. The need to change the technology of the educational process (focusing on the forming aims of the creative manager potential) and its organization was stated in the context of creative education content analysis, and at the same time emphasizing, that creative education is a new type of education that cannot be realized only by organizational restructuring. A new term “creative economy” was introduced. Firstly, it is characterized by the use of new technologies and findings in various spheres of man’s activity, much larger amount of existing knowledge, the new knowledge generating, a high degree of the motivational innovation. Creative education is the basis of the motivational innovation, which produces intellectual and creative human resources by teaching critical thinking skills and the ability to move from a problem to an effective decision making zone.
Głównym celem artykułu było nakreślenie treści i strategii edukacji kreatywnej oraz wskazanie jej znaczenia w kształtowaniu fachowych kompetencji konkurencyjnego menedżera. Poddano analizie terminy „edukacja dla rozwoju” i „edukacja dla stałego rozwoju” oraz udowodniono, że właśnie oświatowy czynnik jest współcześnie niezwykle ważny dla pozytywnej dynamiki rozwoju społeczeństwa. Podkreślono znaczenie sformułowania nowego oświatowego paradygmatu w celu wyznaczenia perspektyw stałego rozwoju społecznego. W tym kontekście uzasadnia się miejsce kreatywnej edukacji, która integruje inne rodzaje, łączy je w kompleks bardzo ważnych, pozytywnych cech studiów zawodowych i kształtowania menedżera. Podkreślono przy tym potrzebę uznania kreatywnej i refleksyjno-kreatywnej edukacji za najważniejsze elementy nowego paradygmatu procesu edukacyjnego. Określono treść edukacji twórczej, która koncentruje się na rozwoju zdolności twórczych przyszłego menedżera oraz na utrwaleniu w jego świadomości zawodowej orientacji na innowację. Obejmuje ona analizę problemów i warianty działań, a jej wynikiem jest wzrost poziomu sztuki zarządzania. Dlatego edukacja kreatywnego zarządzania skupia się na tworzeniu i rozwijaniu sztuki zarządzania, która pojawia się i jest postrzegana tylko w określonych okolicznościach i warunkach edukacyjnych. Jednocześnie edukacja kreatywna poszerza zakres problemów związanych z rozwojem zarządzania i projektuje warianty ich rozwiązania, które powinny być najważniejsze w nowoczesnej pracy menedżera. Potrzeba zmiany technologii procesu edukacyjnego (koncentrując się na kształtowaniu celów potencjału kreatywnego menedżera) i jego organizacji została stwierdzona w kontekście analizy treści edukacji kreatywnej i jednocześnie podkreślono, że edukacja kreatywna jest nowym rodzajem edukacji, której nie da się zrealizować jedynie poprzez restrukturyzację organizacyjną. Wprowadzono nowy termin „kreatywna gospodarka”. Charakteryzuje się on zastosowaniem nowych technologii i odkryć w różnych sferach działalności człowieka, znacznie większą ilością istniejącej wiedzy, generowaniem nowej wiedzy, wysokim poziomem innowacji motywacyjnych. Kreatywna edukacja jest podstawą innowacji motywacyjnej, która wytwarza intelektualne i kreatywne zasoby ludzkie poprzez uczenie umiejętności krytycznego myślenia oraz umiejętności przejścia od problemu do skutecznego podejmowania decyzji.

Opis:: This article considers professional education and its impact on professional practice. The educational starting points of the topic and the forms and didactic methods of education which help to activate workers and their participation in education are discussed in the introduction. The article presents the psychosocial aspects of life which modify the work performance of the worker. These are partial aspects of his life path and include both individual educational motives and barriers. Educational barriers can be caused, for example, by the inappropriate setting of professionally oriented educational programs. Managers can have a significant impact on workers’ educational motivation.
Artykuł dotyczy edukacji zawodowej i jej wpływu na praktykę zawodową. We wstępie omówiono edukacyjne punkty wyjścia tematu oraz formy i metody dydaktyczne edukacji, które sprzyjają aktywizacji pracowników i ich partycypacji w edukacji. W artykule przedstawiono psychospołeczne aspekty życia, które modyfikują wydajność pracy. Są to częściowe aspekty jego drogi życiowej i obejmują zarówno indywidualne motywy edukacyjne, jak i bariery. Bariery edukacyjne mogą być spowodowane na przykład nieodpowiednim ustawieniem programów edukacyjnych zorientowanych zawodowo. Menedżerowie mogą mieć znaczący wpływ na motywację edukacyjną pracowników.

Opis:: One of the most important features of the Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ATCA) contributing to its exceptional reliability and availability is its hot-swap functionality. In order for the user to be able to add and remove the components of an ATCA shelf without the necessity of switching the power on and off the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PICMG) specification clearly enumerates the stages a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) has to go through upon insertion into and extraction from the shelf. These stages form the activation and deactivation processes that occur every time an element is changed in the ATCA system. This paper focuses on these processes placing the emphasis on the Electronic Keying (EK) implementation in the Intelligent Platform Management Controller (IPMC) software developed for the self-designed ATCA Carrier Board (CB). This CB is considered to be used in the Low Level RF (LLRF) control system of the X-Ray Free Electron Laser (XFEL). It utilizes the standard-defined PCI Express (PCIe) interface as well as introduces proprietary protocols in form of Low Latency Links (LLL).

Opis:: The innovation of application of cloud managers is described in the article. The authors emphasize that the innovative direction of development of information activities is the integration of Web platforms (social networks and cloud storages) for creating a unified communication space and storage for large amount of information. Tool that provides this development are cloud managers. For library institutions using such technologies will create the favorable and flexible serviceoriented system for providing users with information resources. For determination of free cloud managers and selected among them a benchmark, the methods of benchmarking and expert evaluation were used in the research. The algorithm for operation with every service is given. The following technological capabilities: “integration with cloud storage”, “cloud disk space manager”, “multimedia playback,” “presence of workspace” for collaboration were taken into account. The result of the study is to determine the cloud manager that can serve as a benchmark for providing free cloud services with a wide range of technological capabilities.

Opis:: This research has further characterized the dimensions of the Five Factor Model (Big Five) in the context of entrepreneurship, based on several studies. Our survey shows that the analysed psychological skills in management, which are important for success in business, are perceived as important in two samples (entrepreneurs and managers in one group and students in second group). Research confirms the assumptions that entrepreneurs/managers and students are aware of the qualitative dimension of management psychological skills important for business. The striking fact was that the psychological variable respect of ethics was ranked in two study groups. The finding confirms the fact that while ethical issues are an imperative of our times, for many businessmen ethics is in last place. The top of the list of students' responses were in skills such as confidence, perseverance and the ability to persuade. Endurance, stress resistance and self-confidence were also identified as priorities in the group of entrepreneurs and managers. From the data, it can be seen that the skills required for business, identified in both study groups as important should be developed and improved through business education.
Niniejsze badania scharakteryzowały wymiary Pięcioczynnikowego Modelu Osobowości (Big Five) w kontekście przedsiębiorczości, na podstawie kilku badań. Przedstawione badanie pokazuje, że badane umiejętności psychologiczne w zarządzaniu, które są ważne dla sukcesu w biznesie, postrzegane są jako ważne przeprowadzone zostały w dwóch próbach (przedsiębiorców i menedżerów w jednej grupie i studentów w grupie drugiej). Badania potwierdziły założenia, że przedsiębiorcy/menedżerowie i studenci są świadomi jakościowego wymiaru zarządzania umiejętnościami psychologicznymi ważnymi dla biznesu. Wniosek ten potwierdza fakt, że, podczas, gdy kwestie etyczne są koniecznością naszych czasów, dla wielu przedsiębiorców etyka jest na ostatnim miejscu. Na czołowym miejscu odpowiedzi studentów znalazły się elementy: jak zaufanie, wytrwałość oraz zdolność przekonywania. Wytrzymałość, odporność na stres i pewność siebie zidentyfikowano jako priorytety w grupie przedsiębiorców i menedżerów. Na podstawie danych można zauważyć, że umiejętności wymagane dla biznesu, zidentyfikowane w obu badanych grupach jako ważne, powinny być rozwijane i ulepszane poprzez edukację biznesową.
