Pedagogika kultury w systemie współczesnej edukacji

The following article presents the pedagogy of culture as a significant and current trend of the humanitarian thought. It focuses on mutual relations between culture and education as well as scientific, technological and humanitarian civilization. It emphasizes the nature of universal and timeless values in the education and upbringing process. The way technology supremacy threatens culture as regards the future development of democratic societies is also presented. Moreover, the article is an analysis, evaluation and attempt to outline perspectives for the development of pedagogy of culture as a theoretical basis for curricular, methodological and structural changes in the education system. The following analysis and evaluation are based on research accomplishments of national conferences connected with the topic of interest and the latest pedagogical literature.

Skupia się na wzajemnych relacjach istniejących zarówno pomiędzy kulturą, nauczaniem, jak i naukową, techniczną oraz humanistyczną cywilizacją. Artykuł podkreśla istotę uniwersalnych i trwałych wartości w procesie nauczania i wychowywania. Zaprezentowano sposób, w jaki dominacja technologii zagraża kulturze oraz przyszłemu rozwojowi społeczności demokratycznych. Ponadto artykuł stanowi analizę, ocenę oraz próbę nakreślenia kierunków rozwoju pedagogiki kultury jako teoretycznej podstawy dla programowych, metodycznych oraz strukturalnych zmian w systemie edukacji.
