Актуальные проблемы сотрудничества стран СЭВ в области модернизации легкой промышленности и пути их реиеын

Cooperation of the CMEA countries in the field of light industry is characterized at present with shifting the gravity point from trade exchange to integration of production. It is connected with substantial financial allocations made by these countries for replacement and modernization investments. Due to payments difficulties in their relations with the West, the success of modernization programmes will be determined, first of all, by the situation in engineering industries producing machines for the light industry and by degree to which joint under takings within the CMEA are coordinated. For purposes of this coordination, it would be beneficial to elaborate a concept of technical development of engineering industries manufacturing textile machines and of light industries in each member country based on agreements attained as regards specialization.
