Ewolucja franczyzy bankowej w Polsce

In the first decade of the twenty-first century banking franchise was widely used strategy of the development of the banking branches. To reach a wide range of customers, banks developed coopera- tion with private entrepreneurs. This strategy has proven to be cost effective in small towns, where the opening of the classic branches was unprofitable. However, the current development of the banking    franchise has been hampered, since 2010 the number of functioning banking franchise branches invariably falls, and the rapid development of electronic banking, increasing saturation of bank branches, higher requirements for standards and finally, as franchisees reported, the lower effectiveness of cooperation with the bank have an impact on this tendency. Given the unfavorable trend in banking franchise in Poland, the aim of the study is to analyze its variable development over the last few years and indicate micro- and macro-economic conditions of this situation.
