Historical and ideological formation of Poland and the United States’ strategic culture

Culture is the natural environment of strategy, and the strategy itself directly shapes security by providing ideas and standards for professional strategists or politicians setting specific goals and tasks in the area of security. The main purpose of the conducted research is to analyze the strategic culture of Poland and the United States by indicating its historical and partly ideological foundations. In addition, an attempt was made to answer the following questions: What determines Polish and American strategic culture? What are their characteristics? In what actions and failures do they manifest themselves? The basic conclusion of the above analysis is the confirmation that Poland and the USA have their own strategic culture shaped by historical and ideological experiences.
