Zastosowanie fotogrametrii w badaniach archeologiczno-architektonicznych świątyni Harszepsut

The author of the present article participated in the work carried on by the Polish Archeological Station in Egypt on behalf of the State-Owned Ateliers for Conservation of Cultural Property and took p art in accomplishment of th e surface su rveying of Hatshepsut Temple. He presents the object’s characteristics and the way in which introductory proceedings consisting, among others, in the choice of basic scales used for drawings were carried on. Next he discusses equipment used in photogrammetric work and the methods applied (e.g. assigning planes for the relating of plans and sections, control points etc.). Having taken the photographs they proceeded to the work consisting in making photographic plans of different parts of the Temple and preparing a linear drawing of the whole object in the scale of 1 :50. The author estimates th a t an accuracy of measurements is within the range of ±3—5 cm,
