Autorka rozpoczyna od przypomnienia definicji niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego, zawartej w Konwencji UNESCO z 2003 r. Następnie przybliża dwie autorskie koncepcje: operacyjną definicję pojęcia depozytariusza dziedzictwa niematerialnego oraz typologię i funkcje interesariuszy tego dziedzictwa. Kończy omówieniem Zasad etycznych dotyczących ochrony niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego i wskazaniem, że realizowane w ostatnich latach w powiecie bialskim działania na rzecz tradycji lokalnych można uważać za dobrą praktykę w budowaniu forum międzyśrodowiskowego porozumienia i współdziałania nastawionego na ochronę niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego.

The author begins with recounting the definition of intangible cultural heritage contained in the UNESCO Convention of 2003. Then she presents her two original concepts: an operational definition of an intangible cultural heritage bearer, as well as typology and functions of intangible heritage stakeholders. In conclusion, the author discusses The Ethical Principles for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage and points out that the actions implemented for the benefit of local traditions in the Biała Podlaska district in recent years can be regarded as a good practice of creating a forum for mutual understanding and cooperation between various environments, aimed at safeguarding intangible cultural heritage.
