Obserwowany renesans zastosowania starych technologii wznoszenia znajduje ekologiczne uzasadnienie, a także posiada liczne zalety: prostotę wykonania, bardzo krótki czas budowy, energooszczędność, znakomite walory termiczne i akustyczne, możliwość wykorzystania lokalnych surowców, walory zdrowotne, estetyczne i przede wszystkim bardzo niskie koszty. Doświadczenia w realizacji dawnych technologii posiada wiele państw Europy (Belgia, Dania, Niemcy, Estonia, Francja, Wielka Brytania, Włochy, Łotwa, Litwa, Holandia, Austria, Hiszpania, Czechy, Węgry, Finlandia, Portugalia), a także USA. W Polsce technologie te, jak dotąd, rozwijają się bardzo nieśmiało. W artykule omówiono cechy obiektów wznoszonych ze słomy i gliny. Zalety opisanej technologii przemawiają za szerokim jej wdrażaniem.
The observed renaissance of applying old technologies of raising is finding ecological grounds and is also having many good points: simplicity of the workmanship, very short time of the structure, energy efficiency, outstanding thermal and acoustic advantages, possibility of using local natural materials, health, aesthetic advantages and above all very low costs. Many states of Europe have some experience in the realization of former technologies (Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, France, Great Britain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland, Portugal) and the USA. In Poland, these technologies, so far have been developing very scatcely. The article undertakes the discussion of the features of objects raised with straw and clay. Advantages of the described technology are opening its wide implementation.
