Zmysel života seniora v kontexte sociálnej práce

The meaning of life issue is the subject of fifferent science. It is dealt by many writers and moviemakers, scholars including. In this article author deals with seniors going through the process of ageing and old age, the process of entering retirement, changes in family life cycle. Author fouces on seniors, who are coping with new de- mangind situations. Some of situations are general, others specific, others require to be named demanding or critical. It is known that something as meaningfulness of their solutions, as a finding mean- ingfulness in coping with them. Based on this we could describe our life as successful or unsuccessful. If we evaluate our life as success- ful it is associtated with terms as happiness, joy, success, freedom, attitude and value. But also responsibility, sense of guilt manifested in our conscience when we do not act according it, or even we act immoral or unethical. We offer this questions of meaningfulness of senior’s life as a challenge for the professional discussion.
