Badania składu granulometrycznego zawiesiny komunalnej

Results of granulometric characterization analyses of municipal suspension are presented in the paper. The results were obtained using two analyzers working on different physical measurement principles, i.e.: the sedimentation balance and IPS-L analyzer. Great time instability of suspension granulometric composition was observed. An attempt was made to explain the direction of this instability (decrease of m and a parameter). The usability of applied analytical equipment was analyzed in terms of its application in designing of sedimentation process in settlers. Limitations of the analyzers used were indicated.
