Opis gwary wsi Rachanie, pow. Tomaszów Lubelski. Cz. II. Fleksja

The article outlines the picture of inflection of the dialect used in the village of Rachanie in the Tomaszów Lubelski district. Within the frames of parts of the speech the presented material, through paradigms, shows the differences between the inflection of the discussed dialect and the standard Polish language. At the same time the range of influences of the neighbouring eastern dialects on the Rachanie dialect can be clearly seen. The discussed dialect does not distinguish between the masculine and not-masculine genders, which has its consequences in inflection. It is commonly said here: baby xuǯil´i, ǯeći kšyčel´i, xłopy rub΄il´i. The ending -am in Gen. Pl. is also a characteristic feature here. It is commonly used in words like, eg. babam, ǯećam, xłopam, krovam, psam, which is also a characteristic feature of eastern dialects.
