Kształtowanie środowiska rolniczego na terenach pogórniczych Kopalni Węgla Brunatnego "Konin"

Celem pracy była ocena kształtowania środowiska rolniczego na terenach pogórniczych Konińskiego Zagłębia Węgla Brunatnego na przykładzie użytków pokopalnianych, to jest zwałowisk wewnętrznych odkrywek: "Pątnów i "Kazimierz Północ" Kopalni Węgla Brunatnego "Konin", na których od 1992 roku prowadzone są badania przez Katedra Melioracji, Kształtowania Środowiska i Geodezji AR w Poznaniu. W pracy oprócz własnych badań i obserwacji terenowych wykorzystano dane uzyskane z Kopalni Węgla Brunatnego "Konin", a także wyniki wieloletnich badań Zakładu Rekultywacji AR w Poznaniu z siedzibą w Koninie. Badane zwałowiska położone są w Regionie Wielkopolskim, w zasięgu mezoregionu 315.57 Pojezierza Kujawskiego i zaliczane są do zwałowisk o wierzchowinie dostosowanej do poziomu terenów przyległych.

This paper presents an analysis of the development of an agricultural environment in the post mining grounds of the Konin quarry based on the examples of the in-ternal site of "Pątnów" and "Kazimierz Północ". In the 80's the selective method of surface soil reclamation of the internal sites was introduced and caused the successful agricultural reclamation of those grounds based on the conception of farming the same final productive plants. This reclamation was realized by Konin Quarry on the internal sites and consisted of reintroduction of productive plants like alfalfa and grass. The start of reclamation of those grounds obliged the new owner to continue reclamation and be responsible for the associated costs. The analysis of long term research confirmed the important influence of agricultural treatment on the infiltration and water retention in the surface layers of soil, which is important for the water capacity of those soils. The humidity and water stock are formed only due to the water precipitation. The increase of the retention capacity of postmining grounds permits bigger water storage during precipitation period which is beneficial in dry period. This situation corresponds to general agriculture policy and needs to protect those grounds from water erosion. The cereal's yields obtained, especially from spring and root wheat, have different results according to the reclamation and farming period. It is due to the weather conditions in Wielkopolska region: insufficient quantity and distribution of precipitation. In order to become independent from meteorological conditions, it is necessary to introduce irrigation of the post mining grounds to increase the efficiency of agriculture reclamation and to fulfill the water requirements.
