Konflikty zbrojne w Afryce Subsaharyjskiej w drugiej dekadzie XXI wieku jako przedmiot badań naukowych

The aim of this paper is to present the armed conflicts in Sub-Saharan Africa in the second decade of the 21st century in the context of conducting research. The paper shows a problem situation, emphasizing the importance of adequate determination of the subject, area and time of research. The author discusses the aetiology of the conflicts in the whole region, their character and consequences for the security of countries and Sub-Saharan Africa. The paper outlines the characteristics of the selected armed conflicts in Sub-Saharan Africa in the second decade of the 21st century (e.g. in Central African Republic, Chad, Mali, Somalia, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Nigeria), emphasizing their origins and mutual interdependence. It also determines the direction of further research.
