Próby zbudowania jedności pomimo różnic teologicznych, podejmowane były wewnątrz polskiego ewangelicyzmu od XVI do XXI w. Przez cały ten czas pewne ekumeniczne wątki wciąż na nowo powracają: wzajemne uznanie urzędów i sakramentów oraz możliwość ich przyjmowania u partnerów dialogu, wymiana kaznodziejska, współużytkowanie kościołów, wspólne synody, powołanie Kościoła narodowego, wspólne kształcenie duchownych, współpraca wydawnicza i charytatywna. Artykuł przypomina najstarszy ekumeniczny akt w Europie - Ugodę Sandomierską (1570), która pozwoliła uznać się nawzajem za prawowierne trzem nurtom reformacji w Polsce: kalwinistom, braciom czeskim i luteranom. W artykule przywołany jest polski prekursor irenizmu, senior Jednoty Małopolskiej, ks. Bartłomiej Bythner (1559-1629) i jego dzieło Fraterna et modesta ad omnes per universam Europam reformatas ecclesias [...] exhortatio, w którym zaapelował on o zwołanie powszechnego soboru chrześcijańskiego. Artykuł śledzi losy Wspólnego Konsystorza luterańsko-reformowanego, wspólne zaangażowanie obu wyznań w Plebiscyt 1920 r., pokazuje przykłady udanych wspólnych projektów wydawniczych i wspólnej działalności charytatywnej. Tekst przywołuje kolejne dokumenty współpracy, zarówno pomiędzy ewangelikami reformowanymi i luteranami, jak i w ostatnim czasie – z metodystami. Wiele ze wspólnych inicjatyw nie było podyktowanych jedynie chęcią realizacji teorii ekumenicznych, ale były rozwiązaniami praktycznymi, które przyniosło życie. Pozwala to z nadzieją spojrzeć w przyszłość z perspektywy 500 lat starań o tę jedność, która wciąż jest zadaniem Kościołów i w kontekście zbliżających się obchodów 500-lecia reformacji.
Attempts to build unity in spite of theological differences were taken inside Polish Protestantism from the sixteenth to the twenty-first century, all this time some ecumenical threads repeatedly return: mutual recognition of offices and the sacraments and their ability to adopt their partners for dialogue, exchange preaching, churches sharing, joint councils, the appointment of national church, joint training of clergy, co-operation in publishing and charity. Article presents the oldest ecumenical act in Europe - Sandomierz Consensus (1570) which enabled mutual recognition of three streams of the Reformation in Poland: the Calvinists, Czech Brethren and Lutherans. The article cited a Polish precursor of irenicism, superintendent of Unity of Little Poland, Bartholomew Bythner (1559-1629) and his book Fraterna et modesta ad omnes per universam Europam reformatas ecclesias [...] exhortatio, in which he called for the convening of the General Council. Article follows the history of the Joint Lutheran-Reformed Consistory (in XIX century) and the commitment of both Churches in the 1920 Plebiscite. It shows examples of successful joint projects in publishing and charitable activities. The text refers also to another document cooperation both between the Reformed and Evangelical Lutherans and recently with the Methodists. Many of joint initiatives was not solely dictated by the wish to implement the ecumenical theories, but were practical solutions that day-to-day life brought. This allows us look forward the future with hope look from the perspective of the 500-years-lasting efforts for the unity that still is the task of the Churches in the context of the upcoming celebrations of 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
Versuche, trotz theologischer Unterschiede Einheit zu bauen, hat man im polnischen Evangelizismus vom 16. bis zum 21. Jahrhundert unternommen. Während dieser Zeit kommen bestimmte ökumenische Motive immer wieder: die gegenseitige Anerkennung der kirchlichen Ämter und der Sakramente und die Möglichkeit sie bei den Dialogpartnern zu empfangen, Predigeraustausch, gemeinsame Nutzung von Kirchen, gemeinsame Synoden, Gründung einer Landeskirche, gemeinsame Ausbildung von Geistlichen, gemeinsame verlegerische und karitative Tätigkeit. Der Artikel erinnert an die älteste ökumenische Übereinkunft in Europa - den Consensus von Sandomir (1570), welcher zur gegenseitiger Anerkennung als rechtgläubig von drei Reformationsströmungen: den Kalvinisten, den Böhmischen Brüdern und den Lutheranern, führte. Im Artikel wird erinnert an den polnischen Vorläufer der Irenik, Senior der Kleinpolnischen Unität, Pf. Bartholomeus Bythner (1559-1629) und sein Werk Fraterna et modesta ad omnes per universam Europam reformatas ecclesias [...] exhortatio, in dem er die Einberufung eines allgemeinen christlichen Konzils forderte. Der Artikel folgt dem Schicksal des Gemeinsamen Lutherisch-Reformierten Konsistoriums, dem gemeinsamen Engagement beider Konfessionen in die Volksabstimmung in 1920, zeigt Beispiele von gelungener, gemeinsamen verlegerischer Projekte und gemeinsamer karitativer Tätigkeit, sowohl unter Reformierten und Lutheranern, als auch in der letzten Zeit - mit Beteiligung von Methodisten. Viele gemeinsame Initiativen waren nicht allein durch den Wunsch diktiert, ökumenische Theorie umzusetzen, sondern waren ganz praktische Lösungen, welche das Leben selbst gebracht hat. Dies ermöglicht eine Hoffnung für die Zukunft aus der Sicht der 500 Jahre von Bestrebungen um die Einheit, die immer noch als Aufgabe vor den Kirchen steht, insbesondere im Kontext der bevorstehenden Feierlichkeiten zum 500 Jahrestag der Reformation.
